Mr Price, Mr Price Home & Mr Price Sport Customer Protection Plan
The outstanding balance of the customer’s account with Mr Price and/or Mr Price Home and/or Mr Price Sport, will be settled, up to R15 000, in the event that the customer and/or his/her partner dies, is retrenched, diagnosed with a critical illness or hospitalised.

We also provide you with Identity theft cover included as part of your Mr. Price Customer Protection Plan. What is Identity theft? It's the fastest growing crime in the world, and especially here in SA. These days we all carry cards, right? Store cards, petrol cards, credit cards as well as drivers licenses. Identity theft is when someone steals your personal details and spends money in your name - without you even knowing.

The Mr. Price Customer Protection Plan will now provide financial assistance of up to R15 000 to assist you in the rehabilitation process if you are a victim of identity theft. We will also provide you with protective registration with the Southern African Fraud Prevention Service, passport & driver's license cover as well as 24 hour legal advice.

An additional R2 500 is paid out if the insured person dies as a result of an accident. 

Plus you will be covered against fraudulent use of your MrPricemoney card as soon as you report it lost or stolen.

Mr Price, Mr Price Home & Mr Price Sport staff in-store are able to offer the Customer Protection Plan to MrPricemoney card customers and inform them of the procedures, documentation and communication channels to "VA” (see below) in order for them to find out about, apply for and claim on the Plan.

VA Risk Management (Pty) Ltd.
VA is the Administrator of the Customer Protection Plan on behalf of
Mr Price, Mr Price Home & Mr Price Sport. VA is responsible for communication to customers on all aspects of the Plan, via a number of channels. (See Mr Price, Mr Price Home & Mr Price Sport and VA contact details at the bottom of each page on this web site).

Guardrisk Life Limited
Guardrisk is the insurance company underwriting the Mr Price, Mr Price Home & Mr Price Sport Customer Protection Plan and VA administers and manages all
Mr Price, Mr Price Home & Mr Price Sport customer communication, procedures, applications and claims on Guardrisk’s behalf.
